Fall 2024-Spring 2025
This semester, I had the opportunity to gain extensive knowledge about marketing, particularly in the wellness industry. Alongside my content creation responsibilities, I undertook larger projects and collaborated on the management of our 35th Anniversary celebration campaign. I was involved in the process from brainstorming through to implementation, which included developing campaigns for mobile ordering at our in-club café, introducing new personal trainers, and relaunching Pilates with a new 35% discount promotion.
During this time, I received guidance on shifting my mindset from a task-oriented approach to a broader, strategic perspective, emphasizing the importance of delayed gratification to achieve overarching goals. This semester has been marked by significant accomplishments and valuable learning experiences. My internship provided not only insights within my organization but also allowed me to explore various marketing avenues. Attending the UFO Performance Marketing Breakout Session, titled "Cool People Saying Smart Things," and participating in meetings focused on reviewing our company's SEO and META optimization were enlightening experiences that deepened my understanding of data analytics.
Following my Social Media Internship, I had the opportunity to transition into the role of Content Creation Intern for the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Cincinnati Sports Club. In this position, I focused on developing messaging to keep members informed about significant updates and engaged in various activities and events. My responsibilities encompassed a range of tasks, from administrative duties to creative projects. A significant portion of my creative work involved designing graphics and videos in Canva to facilitate the effective communication of essential information to our members. These projects included before-and-after construction videos, instructional content on downloading the new club app, and tutorials on how to utilize our new lockers, among others.
